The Guyana Fire Advisory Board conducted Outreach #5 in Region 6 under the theme “Fire Safety & Protection starts with the people, let’s endeavor our goals through education”.

Several members of the business community and other residents were engaged in presentations which were conducted by representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency, Ministry of Legal Affairs, Government Electrical Inspectorate and the Guyana Fire Service following which a demonstration on the use of fire extinguishers was done to conclude the exercise.

The outreach was aimed at raising awareness and educating citizens on fire safety and prevention.
