The Guyana Fire Service has been conducting several outreaches in various communities in efforts to raise awareness and educate citizens on fire prevention and safety.

During the outreaches persons were lectured on fire safety in the home and the likelihood of electrical fires following which they were presented with pamphlets, stickers and food hampers as a token from the GFS.

Citizens are reminded to equip their homes and businesses with fire prevention tools and equipment in efforts to minimize the risk of a fire.
