Guyana Fire Service

Four ranks have successfully completed the Defensive Driving Course

The Guyana Fire Service is pleased to congratulate four of our ranks who have successfully completed the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course.
The extensive training course included theoretical and practical exercises that promotes safe driving habits and other aspects of road safety.
In congratulating the ranks, Chief Fire Officer (ag) Gregory Wickham, made note of the fact that driving is both a skill and an art, and that as a result, drivers have a responsibility to ensure passengers reach their destination safely. He then charged the four newly certified drivers to live up to that responsibility.
The GFS is proud of these focused and dedicated young men, may the knowledge gained be passed on and utilized for the enhancement of the GFS.
