In observance of International Women’s Day, female firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians today conducted a drill at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the presence of Home Affairs Minister, Hon. Robeson Benn, Permanent Secretary, Ms. Mae Thomas, Chief Fire Officer (Ag), Gregory Wickham, female employees attached to the Ministry and members of the media.
The drill was done to showcase the strength of females in the Guyana Fire Service and their capability to carry out their mandate.
