Requirements for New Petroleum & LPG Storage Licence

  1. Proof of Ownership (Transport, Title od Lease)

  2. If Applicant is not the owner of the premises, approval must be obtained from the owner.

  3. Written Application stating the amount of Petroleum/LPG Cylinders to be stored on the premises, along with a photocopy of proof of Ownership (Transport, Title and/or lease) must be presented to this Department.
Note: A Fire Safety Inspection will be carried out on the premises before the issuance of any of these licences.

Requirements for New Safety Certificate Licence(Malt & Wine, Off Licence, Liquor Restaurant, Members Club, Hotels & (Bars), Lumber Yard, Sawmill, Mechanical Workshop, Spare Parts Store, etc)

  1. Applicants must first apply to the City Engineers’ Department (G/town), RDC or NDC that covers their district with their building Plan.

  2. Then apply to CH&PA for Approval. Once approval has been granted, applicant must present a photocopy and original of the approved plan and original of approved plan and approval letter from the CH&PA.
Note: A Fire Safety Inspection of the business will be carried out before the issuance of any of these licences

Requirements for Music & Dancing Certificate

  1. Applicants must first apply to the City Engineers’ Department (G/town), RDC or NDC that covers their district for a Structural Soundness.

  2. Once approval has been granted from the listed organizations, same must be presented to this Department along with written application to the Chief Fire Officer.
Note: A Fire Safety Inspection of the venue will be carried out before the issuance of this certificate.
